Intense ruby red color with purple glints. The nose is powerful with dominant red and black berries such as black currant. The wine exhibits Mediterranean spices such as thyme and rosemary as well as liquorice notes.The wine is well balanced with good concentration, soft and smooth
tannins. Very good length.
PAIRING
It will match perfectly with a rack of lamb seasoned with thyme and rosemary, any
Mediterranean dish, steaks, stews and cheeses.
VINEYARDS
Once belonging to a general of Napoleon Bonaparte's army , this vineyard
is located in the village of Valréas in the Drôme department. Napoleon's
head is represented on the label in reference to the former owner
